Gothic Ankh pendant necklace with a shiny black onyx cabochon at the centre.  Height 46mm.  The pendant is on a strong long 32" black cotton string, but this can be replaced with a shorter leather thong or sterling silver or silver plated necklace.

The Ankh was the Egyption hieroglyph that represented the word "Life".  It symbolised life on earth as well as immortality.  As an amulet it bestows power and energy and protects its bearer from illness and tiredness.
